FNHC receives fundraising cheque from Jersey Post

Representatives from Family Nursing & Home Care were delighted to receive a cheque for £15,280 from staff at Jersey Post recently, as they had nominated FNHC as their Charity of the Year for 2024.

Jersey Post organised various fundraising events throughout last year and their staff took part in FNHC’s Colour Festival and posties also delivered Festival t-shirts to all 1,500 participants. Charity money pots were placed in the Broad Street and Rue des Pres Post Offices, an advert on one of its eco delivery parcel vans was donated and a FNHC information leaflet was delivered free-of-charge to all 45,000 households.

CEO Rosemarie Finley said: “Mark and the team at Jersey Post have supported Family Nursing & Home Care in so many ways throughout 2024 and made a significant difference to us. Not only with the money they have raised to support FNHC’s services, but also with their time and commitment. Like FNHC, Jersey Post touches the lives of all islanders and supports the community in many ways, often unseen, so it’s been a particularly enjoyable working with them. We are so grateful for all their support.”
