Alan Merry Committee Member

Alan has extensive senior executive and Board level experience gained across a number of business sectors and is currently the Non-Executive Chair of Jersey Post International.

His focus is on working with businesses in the development of strategy, change management and improving Board and organisational effectiveness. He worked closely with the Board and Executive team at Ports of Jersey along with the Government, through the incorporation of the business and latterly held the position of Strategy and Development Director.

Alan has also provided consultancy support to Family Nursing over a number of years as they thought through their approach to the changes in healthcare provision on the Island. This experience developed a more detailed understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced and the importance of the role played by Family Nursing. Joining the Board as a Trustee, provides an opportunity to support Family Nursing in the delivery of their aims.
