Clinical Services Administrator – Child & Family Services

This role will provide a comprehensive and confidential clerical, administrative and general support to Child & Family Services which includes Health Visiting and the School Nursing Team. You will liaise with internal and external agencies both on and off the island, ensure accurate record keeping with the Electronic Patient Record Management (EMIS) and organise and send out appointments for health assessments. This role requires the flexibility to support clinical service delivery during school and nursery hours.

hours: 18.75 pw - hours to support clinical service delivery during nursery and school hours

salary: Dependent on experience

criteria: Essentially you must be educated to GCSE or equivalent, with excellent keyboard and IT skills. Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential and a a qualification in Social/Health care beneficial. Flexibility to support the clinical service delivery during school hours is key.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our professional Children & Family Services Team in a permanent part – time  role.

Key responsibilities include:

·      To provide clerical, administrative and general support to the Child & Family Services which includes the Children Looked After Service, Health Visiting and School Nursing Team

·      To liaise with internal and external agencies both on and off the island

·      Electronic Patient Record Management (EMIS), including organising and sending out appointments for health assessments and arranging venues

·      Organising photocopying, scanning and uploading documents to the Electronic Patient record

·      Maintaining caseload management on the Electronic Patient Record, referring and discharging children when instructed by a health professional and ensuring children’s records are kept up to date.

·      Working flexibly to meet the needs of the Child & Family Service

·      Assisting with data collection and auditing

·      Maintaining the confidentiality of clients’ personal health and social information

·      Supporting the Clinicians with relevant enquiries and administrative duties

·      Working to support the C&F Admin to cover the service

·      To undertake any other administrative duties as requested by your line manager and/or nominated deputy
