Palliative Care

Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) have significant expertise in palliative care. We ensure patients of all ages with advanced, progressive and life-threatening illnesses receive expert needs-based care, delivered with compassion.  We also provide end of life care for patients, within the home.

Our Adult Nursing and Child and Family Nursing Teams work with patients to fully understand their needs in order to compile a care programme that encompasses pain management, psychological, social and family support.

They support our patients through the diagnosis, condition and symptom management and treatment process.

In many adult cases, after medical treatment, patients will no longer require our support. Where children are concerned, a Paediatrician is always involved.

In other cases, Palliative Care involved managing continuing illness or providing end of life care.

We have the courage to do things differently, offering an integrated support system to achieve the very best quality of life, comfort and dignity for all of our patients whilst supporting their families.
